Message From The 2nd Vice 7th District Representative
Greetings, to the Brothers of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc.,
I would like to extend a warm heartfelt welcome to my beloved Fraternity, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc., the Supreme Council, and a special welcome to the Brothers of The Mighty 7th District.
I cannot begin to express my gratitude and excitement for being elected as the Mighty 7th Districts 2nd Vice District Representative. I would like to thank all the brothers who have come before me for exhibiting what true perseverance looks like. Although standing on the shoulders of giants, it is my goal to uphold the standard that Omega expects and keep the tradition of being the Mightiest district. I would be remiss to not express what an honor it is to be under the leadership of 7th District Representative Brother Reginald Harris. During my tenure as the 7th District 2nd Vice District Representative, I intend on enhancing the undergraduate experience for all brothers by creating initiatives between all chapters, increasing communication, and expanding efforts in creating an enjoyable, yet safe experience despite our current environment. It will be a priority of mine to extend the right hand of friendship to all brothers throughout our district, from the sunshine state of Florida to the southern side of Mississippi.
Covid-19 has been one of the most trying times in recent years however, with the lifting of our Fraternity’s Covid restrictions, I have full faith that with the directive of our 41st Grand Basileus, Bro. David E. Marion, work for Omega will remain consistent. I am confident that with that faith, we will continue to persevere and uphold the traditions of The Mighty 7th District. I challenge myself and every brother across the 7th District to increase ingenuity within our efforts to uphold our duties.
With blessings from the Supreme Basileus, it is my prayer that with all efforts, we will remain safe and healthy to dwell together. May we all continue to be beacons within our communities and doers of the work of Omega, as our founders did before.
